Recording to Revenue Workshop Series: Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interest are now open for EMC’s three-part workshop series ‘Recording to Revenue’.

Held across 3 days in August at City of Sydney Creative Studios (CoSCS) the workshop series is designed to support electronic music artists and independent labels through the cycle of music creation and completion, release preparation, metadata management, and revenue optimisation.

Each workshop will be hosted by experienced professionals from within the industry, offering practical guidance and real-world insights to help participants through each stage of the music making, release planning and  revenue roadmap process.

Each workshop is accompanied by a digital toolkit, delivering practical guides and templates, and is accessible to anyone in Australia. Details on the release of these toolkits is coming soon

Requirements for Applicants:

      • Artists must commit to all 3 workshops with the option to invite one additional person from either their management or independent label (if the artist releases on a label other than their own) to participate alongside the artist in workshops 2 & 3.
      • Have previous experience releasing music on commercial platforms
      • Must be currently developing new original music (50-70% developed) with plans to release it by end of Q1, 2026.
      • Artists must reside in NSW, Australia.

A selection of ten artists will be made by a working group of EMC team members and workshop partners to participate. Participation is free, with refreshments provided.

Please note: No travel or accommodation costs will be covered if your participation requires you to travel.
